Tesla stock jumps while bulls and bears say the recession is over $500 billion

(Reuters) – The French president said in a tweet that Emmanuel Macron met with Elon Musk on Friday afternoon and discussed the efforts Twitter must make to comply with European regulations.

“Transparent user policies, a significant promotion of moderation in content and protection of freedom of expression: Twitter must make efforts to comply with European regulations,” Macron said in a tweet on Saturday.

The US Department of Justice said Friday that Swiss engineering and technology group ABB has agreed to pay more than $315 million to resolve a bribery investigation into a South African state-owned energy company.

The Justice Department said its decision was coordinated with prosecution authorities in South Africa and Switzerland, as well as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
